Join us after school for a fun afternoon of coding fun with our friends, the Iowa Children's Museum. We'll get to play with robots and other fun things! All ages are welcome but this event is geared towards elementary aged youth.

We are kicking off the fall months by showing The Sheep Detectives this month. Showtime events are for teens and adults. Patrons are invited to bring whatever you need to be comfortable as we show this film.

All ages are welcome for this event. Feel free to bring your blankets, pillows, a clear drink, etc. to be comfy as we enjoy popcorn and watch this month's selection, which is Hoppers!

Join us on this early-out Wednesday for an afternoon of fun. There will be a "walking school bus" led by the Hawkins boys from the gym lobby to the library for any child wanting to be escorted to this event - parents just need to send a note to school indicating that your child is going to walk with the Hawkins boys that day. If your child needs further instructions at the close of the event, please send a note for Crystal at the library and she will follow your instructions. If you need to reach Crystal the day of the event, please call or text her at 319-310-8312.  This event is for our preschool and elementary aged friends, but older youth are welcome to come be helpers too.

Come listen to this presentation about our weather in Iowa and how to prepare for storms and other conditions. All ages are welcome.

Calling all littles! Bring your teddy bears or other stuffed friends for an afternoon of snacks and a craft. You'll then leave your stuffed friend at the library overnight for a sleepover. Feel free to bring a blanket for your stuffie too. Be sure to watch our Facebook page for all the shenanigans they get into that night. You can pick up your friend the next morning any time from 9-12.

Kids can bring their grandparents to the library for breakfast and a morning of crafts.

Spongebob Movie- The search for Squarepants. Popcorn provided. Bring a clear beverage and a pillow/blanket to sit on.

Take a trip into secret meetings, dangerous minds, and unknown clues. Become a passenger on the S.S. Carnage to help find the killer, or maybe be the killer yourself. Adults and teens are welcome.

We’re celebrating Dads with a morning of 3D model building at the Victor Public Library. Refreshments and models are provided.

May is National Mystery Month so we're celebrating by providing a mystery bag of craft supplies and a creative challenge. Bring a friend or partner up with your family for a morning of fun. All ages are welcome

Join us as we create beautiful birdhouses out of gourds in partnership with our friends, the Iowa County Master Gardeners. This activity is designed for kids to do WITH their mom, grandmas or other special women in their lives. 

Join us for a morning of horse racing fun as we make crafts and enjoy some derby themed snacks. All ages are welcome but this event is geared towards a preschool through elementary aged audience and their family members.

Victor Lions Club invites all HLV Community School families to bring their children (pre-school through 5th grade) to the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

We're celebrating National Take a Walk in the Park Day by incorporating story time with some outdoor movement, art activities, and snacks. In the event of inclement weather, we'll move this party inside the library.  All ages are welcome.

This month we're showing another Oscar nominated film, Zootopia 2! Bring pillows, blankets, or whatever you need to feel comfortable and a clear drink. We will provide the popcorn.

Calling all crafters! Come for an evening of open art/craft creations and swap materials with your peers. Bring a snack to share and a craft project you are working on. Don't have a current project? No worries, we will open the cupboards to access to supplies. Following this event, the library will have a table set up from March 20-28 for people to take supplies/leave supplies
